| This is one of the more unusual "Petroglyphs" that I have seen. When we first found it, we were not sure if it was an actual petroglyph or a naturally occurring pattern. In the bottom four photos you can see that the pattern was pecked into the surface and then possibly painted over with a pigment that was high in iron resulting in the brown coloring over the pecked areas. |
