Ironic, isn't it... Notice the nice printing and the proper usage of the words "too" and "to".
At least the vandal who destroyed the site appears to be literate!

The Little Red Rock area (east of Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area in Nevada) has been a place where people have been off-roading, hiking, and partying for over 30 years. Many of us, myself included, have assumed (incorrectly) that the area was public land administered by the BLM and surrounded by Hughes Corporation land holdings. Some of us also assumed (incorrectly) that the BLM was allowing the Howard Hughes Corporation to illegally block off public access to the Little Red Rock area to make it easier for them (BLM) to manage much like they did in the nearby Calico Basin.
Apparently even with all the TV and newspaper articles over the years, I missed the obvious. The Little Red Rock area, along with the surrounding land (much of which is now private homes) is owned by the Howard Hughes Corporation and is "PRIVATE PROPERTY." Hopefully in the future the Howard Hughes Corporation will grant access for the public to the Little Red Rock area.

Little Red Rock has an incredible history going back 1000's of years. Some areas are being destroyed through careless ignorance, and others (a few ancient Indian sites) are being deliberately destroyed. In spite of all the precautions that the Hughes Corporations has taken, people still manage to trespass. Some not to enjoy the land, but to destroy.
Below are a few photographs of what is currently happening in Little Red Rock

This rock shelter has been used for partying for many years. In the center photo you can just barely see what remains of the petroglyphs under the soot. The photo on the right is of a large tinaja (water basin) that has also been used for years for partying and as a fire pit.
The pictographs below (left photo) have survived weather and fire over the last 1,000 years just to be damaged by "paintballers."
The photographs below were all taken at the same site
The photos on the left and the middle were taken in 2004 and the graffiti at this site was apparently done in 2005
It is nice to know that this was done by a good so-called Christian person
